Pick-up from hotels and departure in the morning towards Madara. Visit to the archaeological site with the rock-cut relief of the Horseman of Madara - a unique monument from the 8th century, listed by UNESCO. The site is considered a symbol of the first Bulgarian state. Drive to a restaurant in the picturesque village of Kyolevcha, where dishes made of fresh local products and aromatic herbs are served. Participate in the traditional ritual of baking so-called silent bread - bread created in silence and concentration, with intention and reverence. An opportunity to experience deep tranquility and spiritual contact with nature. This is followed by a lunch of Bulgarian cuisine with a modern twist. All dishes are prepared on site with organic ingredients. In the afternoon, visit the Benedictine Monastery in Tsarev Brod. Learn about the spiritual and herbal activities carried out by nuns from different parts of the world (including the Philippines, Tanzania and Korea). The opportunity to purchase natural ointments and oils produced by the nuns. The monastery was blessed by Pope John Paul II. End the day with a visit to a boutique winery in Tsarev Brod. Tasting of local wines in an intimate atmosphere. Transfer back to hotels in the afternoon and evening.
