Program Description

An unforgettable excursion along the Amalfi Coast awaits you - one of the most spectacular regions in Italy. This full-day small-group tour lets you discover Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello.

Leaving the vibrant city of Naples behind, you’ll travel along one of Europe’s most scenic coastal roads. Along the way, you’ll stop at the La Pinetina viewpoint, where breathtaking panoramas open up over the Li Galli Islands. These rocky islets are steeped in ancient legends and myths of sirens. Your local guide will share fascinating stories you won’t find in standard guidebooks.

Your first stop is Positano, the iconic town cascading down toward the sea. During your free time, you’ll soak in its unique atmosphere while strolling narrow streets filled with boutiques, lemon scents, and blooming bougainvillaea. You may visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta with its distinctive tiled dome or relax on the beach Spiaggia Grande, enjoying views of the dramatic coastline.

During the high season, from April to October, you’ll enjoy a fast boat ride from Positano to Amalfi, avoiding road traffic and admiring the coast from the water. Upon arrival in Amalfi, once a powerful maritime republic and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Admire the impressive Cathedral of Saint Andrew, enjoy an espresso in the lively square, or taste the local speciality, Santa Rosa pastry. In the low season, from November to March, the tour includes entry to the Arsenal of the Amalfi Republic, offering insight into the town’s rich maritime history.

The final stop of the day is Ravello, a peaceful town perched high above the sea, known for its elegance, gardens, and sweeping coastal views. As you wander through its quiet streets, you can browse local ceramic workshops or choose to visit the Villa Rufolo, whose terraces offer some of the most stunning panoramas along the Amalfi Coast. It’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the refined charm of southern Italy.

A tour of the Amalfi Coast combines spectacular scenery, engaging storytelling, and plenty of free time, allowing you to experience it in your own way.
